JDS metal doorframes is based in perth western australia. We are an innovative company specialised in steel doorframes. We launched our regalframe in march, at the 2006 ideal home show in perth. The regal frame is unlike any other metal doorframes, it has a distinctive timber look architrave. The regal frame is a perfect alternative to timber frame. It has all the nice features associated with timber but much easier to install and structurally much stronger than timber. The frame is made from 1.1mm zf100 zinc-iron alloy coated galvanneal for extra rust resistance and structural strength. Standard 1.6 zinc-plated 100x75mm hinges are used on all frames, but other hinges are available on request. A five-point mitre joint provides added structural strength which leaves an accurate finish. The frames are available in a variety of standard stock sizes but with our automated production line we are able to cater for different size doorframes and back openings to suit most internal and external applications.
