We at TPPL started off by catering to the needs of Printers & Converters, We stepped into the
shoes of Printer & converter to add value to the material sold. Most presses could handle large
printing jobs but conversion of large volumes was a nightmare. A fully mechanized Post Press was
planned in 2006 to help the printing industry tied over the bottlenecks faced in conversion &
finishing of printed products.

Aja Safety Match Co. Pvt. Ltd., (Aja) is a company promoted under the Indian Companies Act of
1956. Its promoters have been engaged in paper trade that has been in existence for the past 35
years under the banner of Tikmany Paper Pvt. Ltd., Sivakasi
Aja has made a foray into the Post Press business that is witnessing unprecedented growth in
recent times owing to mechanization chiefly due to labour shortage & specialization. Aja proposes
to mechanize the conversion of Paper Board in to finished products with activities like Lamination,
Screening, Cutting, Creasing/Punching, Embossing, Hot foil stamping & Pasting. Post press
constitutes the major portion of the investment & work with regards to finishing a product under
production.
Conversion of Paper Boards in a professional manner is Aja`s core business.
Timely supply of finished products to Manufacturers who in-turn use the same as their raw
material or as Promotional articles has been a problem in recent times. The conversion of these
products have been done in a traditional manner using small, obsolete machinery that cannot
deliver the required quality & quantity (except a few big houses that have in-house conversion).
Delivery to the Manufacturers & Exporter has been a contentious issue & not all manufacturers
can resort to mechanization to this scale due to involvement of huge funds and the volume of jobs
required by the machines.
