Thermistors are a type of sensitive components, which are divided into positive temperature coefficient thermistors (PTC) and negative temperature coefficient thermistors (NTC) according to different temperature coefficients. A typical feature of a thermistor is that it is sensitive to temperature and exhibits different resistance values at different temperatures. Positive temperature coefficient thermistors (PTC) have larger resistance values at higher temperatures, and negative temperature coefficient thermistors (NTC) have lower resistance values at higher temperatures. They are both semiconductor devices.

Thermistor is a sensitive component developed early, with many types and mature development. Thermistors are composed of semiconducting ceramic materials and utilize the principle that temperature causes a change in resistance. When the temperature is lower than Tc, the negative charge at the grain boundary is partially offset by the polarization charge, so that the barrier height is greatly reduced, and the grain boundary is in a low-resistance state; when the temperature is higher than Tc, the spontaneous polarization disappears, and the negative charge at the grain boundary cannot It is obtained that the polarization charge barrier is at a high level, and the grain boundary is in a high-resistance state.
