ZnAl 85/15 TAFA 02A Thermal Spray Wire Zinc&Aluminum Thermal Spray Wire Atmospheric Corrosion Protection
Product Description
ZnAl85/15 has good corrosion resistance than either pure Zinc or Aluminum, by combining the advantages of both materials. It is used for corrosion protection in both atmospheric and marine environments.
Equivalent to: TAFA 02A, Metco Zn/Al.
Surface Preparation
Surface should be clean, white metal, with no oxides (rust), dirt, grease, or oil on the surface to be coated. Note: It is best not to handle surfaces after cleaning. Recommended method of preparation is, to grit blast with 24 mesh aluminum oxide, rough grind, or rough machine in a lathe.
